چکیده
In this work, we examined the nature and pathways of electronic excitation relaxation at low temperature in cationic pentamethine pyrylocyanine dye, which ground state is characterized by symmetric non-symmetric localization charge on carbon chain between terminal groups. The such localizations close to polymethine polyene conformations, respectively. effect symmetry breaking during two-way transition – optically excited properties dyes considered. Combined quantum-chemical calculations time-resolved spectral measurements allowed us characterize structures states with specific peaks transitions lifetimes. features structure dye are attributed large-radius polaron formation, whereas for model excitons formed double bonds can be used analyze pathways. energy diagram has been proposed. proposed characteristic cyanine distribution groups states. • Pathways studied. متن کاملProtochlorophyllide excited-state dynamics in organic solvents studied by time-resolved visible and mid-infrared spectroscopy.
Protochlorophyllide (PChlide) is a precursor in the biosynthesis of chlorophyll. Complexed with NADPH to the enzyme protochlorophyllide oxidoreductase (POR), it is reduced to chlorophyllide, a process that occurs via a set of spectroscopically distinct intermediate states and is initiated from the excited state of PChlide. To obtain a better understanding of these catalytic events, we character...
متن کاملUltrafast excited-state dynamics in photochromic N-salicylideneaniline studied by femtosecond time-resolved REMPI spectroscopy.
Ultrafast processes in photoexcited N-salicylideneaniline have been investigated with femtosecond time-resolved resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization spectroscopy. The ion signals via the S(1)(n,pi( *)) state of the enol form as well as the proton-transferred cis-keto form emerge within a few hundred femtoseconds after photoexcitation to the first S(1)(pi,pi( *)) state of the enol form. Thi...

Two sets of supramolecular rhenium carbonyl-phenanthroline complexes were prepared: fac-[Re(Cl)(CO)(3)(N,N)] and fac-[Re(Etpy)(CO)(3)(N,N)](+), where N,N is 2,9-di-anisyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dap) or two related macrocyclic ligands, where the two anisyl groups are connected by a polyether chain of different length and rigidity (m27, m30), which wraps around and above the equatorial Re(CO)(2) gr...
متن کاملFollowing the excited state relaxation dynamics of indole and 5-hydroxyindole using time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy.
Time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy was used to obtain new information about the dynamics of electronic relaxation in gas-phase indole and 5-hydroxyindole following UV excitation with femtosecond laser pulses centred at 249 nm and 273 nm. Our analysis of the data was supported by ab initio calculations at the coupled cluster and complete-active-space self-consistent-field levels. The optic...
